Throughout this challenging time, our #foodforheroes campaign has focused on delivering meals for essential workers and heroes throughout the United States.
The #foodforheroes campaign spread to North Carolina this week! Moe’s Southwest Grill and the Bullard Restaurant Group delivered lunch to the team at the Aberdeen Fire & Rescue Station # 41 in Aberdeen, North Carolina.
Moe’s catered a delicious taco bar to the Aberdeen firefighters and first responders at the station. Complete with a huge bag of chips and salsa, the taco bar featured proteins of adobo chicken and ground beef, along with a choice of beans, cheese, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo and sour cream.

With over 700 restaurants in 40 states, Moe’s features southwestern food with a twist. Burritos, nachos, quesadillas, tacos and burrito bowls are made to order. They provide free freshly flash-fried tortilla chips and a variety of salsa options with every meal. Both “no contact” delivery and pickup (curbside) options exist right now at their restaurants.
Started in the early 1980’s, the Raleigh-based Bullard Restaurants Group is a family-owned operator of leading quick service restaurants (QSR) and fast-casual chains throughout the Carolinas.
A big thank you to Bullard’s CTO Roger Brenner, as well as VP of Operations Helen Podruchny and her assistant Sherise. Much appreciation to the Catering Manager Amy Haag and the team at Moe’s Aberdeen for the preparation and delivery of the food.
